How to play cornhole:

1. The game requires two teams of two people callled partners. The partners shall stand at opposite cornhole boxes on the same side facing each other. This is to ensure no advantage is given tto one team.

2. There will be 4 bags of one color given to each team.

3. All 8 cornhole bags begin at one end.

4. A coin flip decides which team starts the game.

5. One partner fromt he coin flip winning team will begin the game with the first throw at the opposite cornbox.

6. The players can throw from any point behind the cornhole box they are throwing from.

7. The game continues by alternating throws between the opponents until all 8 cornhole bags have been thrown.

8. If a cornhole bag hits the ground and bounces onto the board, the bag will be taken off the playing area.

9. The next round begins when the other cornhole player on the team that won the toss throws their first bag.

10. The cornhole game ends once one team reaches 21 or more points.

Cornhole Game Scoring

1. The score should be recorded after all the cornhole bags have been thrown in a round.

2. Points are be given as follows.

   • 3 points for a cornhole bag that goes through the hole.

   • 1 point for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface.

   • 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging into the hole.

   • 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the edge but not touching the ground.

   • 0 points for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface, but also touching the ground.

   • 0 points for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the front edge and is resting on a cornhole bag that is on the ground (unless the cornhole bag on the ground can be removed without making the hanging bag fall to the ground, then one point is given).

3. The cornhole team with the highest round score, adds the difference of the two scores to their game score.

4. The cornhole team who wins the round throws the first bag in the next round.

5. If both cornhole teams have the same score for each round the game score stays the same and the first throw for the next round is given to the team who had it the previous round.

Cornhole Game Fouls

A foul is considered to have happened when any of the following happens:

1. A cornhole players foot goes past the foot foul line, this is called a foot foul.

2. A player throws out of turn.

3. The player who caused the foul loses the next throw when the foul happened and the players bag will be removed if it landed on the playing surface.
